What is the distance of the run?
The Color Run is a 5K (3.1 miles). You can run, jog, or walk the course at your own pace.

Is this event family-friendly?
Yes! This is a family-friendly community event. Participants of all ages are welcome.

Do I have to run the whole course?
Not at all! Many participants choose to walk, jog, or take their time enjoying the course.

Are dogs allowed?
For the safety of all participants, dogs and pets are not allowed on the course.

Will there be water stations?
Yes! Water stations will be available along the course to help keep everyone hydrated.

Will there be medical or safety staff available?
Yes. A medical/safety station will be on-site, and event volunteers will be stationed along the course if assistance is needed.

Can I bring a stroller?
Yes, strollers are welcome, but please start toward the back of the group for everyone’s safety.

What should I wear?
Most participants wear our white shirts so the color powder shows up best! Sunglasses are also recommended.

What time should I arrive?
We recommend arriving 30–45 minutes early to allow time for check-in, parking, and warm-ups.

Is the color powder safe?
Yes! The color powder used is non-toxic, food-grade, and safe for participants.

Do I have to get color thrown on me?
No. The color stations are optional. You can participate as much or as little as you’d like.

What happens if it rains?
The event will take place rain or shine unless severe weather conditions make it unsafe.

Where should I park?
Parking information will be shared with participants prior to the event and posted on the event page.

 Does Color Powder stain? 

 PurColour Color Powder is designed to be impermanent and washable.  Typical machine washing with laundry detergent removes any residual colorant from clothes and bar soap for the shower, or dish soap removes residual powder from skin.  We recommend ‘blow off’ stations (ie leaf blower stations) where the participants can get excess powder blown off before they leave the event.  Removal of excess powder is recommended before applying any water. Water or leaf blowers will remove PurColour Color Powder from paved areas or grass. 

 Is Color Powder environmentally friendly? 

 PurColour Color Powder, Neon/AfterDark powder is environmentally friendly.  No ecological hazards are associated with this product. They can be easily washed or blown from event areas and are designed to be washable and not to stain. 

 Are there any unusual fire & explosion hazards with Celebration Powder? 

 The product is nonflammable as a dust layer.  The product contains natural organic fire retardant material and natural non-flammable inert material in a proprietary blend that dramatically reduces the risk of an explosion in a dust cloud at certain concentrations.
